Meet the 2025 SkeenaWild Film & Photo Festival Finalists
A night of storytelling, salmon, and the spirit of the Skeena
The SkeenaWild Film & Photo Festival returns this fall, celebrating the wild people, places, and creatures that make life in the Northwest so extraordinary.
Join us on Saturday, November 22, at Sherwood Mountain Brewery Hall in Terrace for an inspiring collection of films and photos that capture the beauty, adventure, and spirit of the Skeena watershed and beyond.
Event Details
As in past years, festival-goers can choose between two showings of the same program:
• Matinee Showing (All Ages) – Doors open at 1:00 PM, films begin at 2:00 PM
• Evening Showing (19+ only) – Doors open at 6:00 PM, films begin at 7:00 PM
Physical tickets are available at Sherwood Beer Shoppe – Adults $20 | Youth (16 & under) $10
Tickets typically sell out quickly, so be sure to get yours early.
How It Works
• Submissions for the 2025 SkeenaWild Film & Photo Festival closed on October 15, 2025.
• Our panel of judges have completed the review process, and the 2025 finalists have now been announced (see below).
• Submissions for the 2025 SkeenaWild Film & Photo Festival closed on October 15, 2025.
• Finalist films and photos will be showcased at the Terrace screening on November 22 and at community showings across Northwest BC and Haida Gwaii. Audience members at each event will have the chance to vote for their favourite entries.
• Community votes will be tallied after the tour, and all winners will be announced in December 2025.
• Cash prizes will be awarded to the winner of each category.
