SkeenaWild Education is proud to partner with local, regional, provincial and federal community organizations to offer outreach environmental education programming for youth ages 5 to 18 years old in communities throughout the Skeena Watershed.Â

Quantum Leaps Conferences – for young women in Grades 10-12 to learn more about STEAM careers (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) from local women in those professions. Offered once a year in the fall or winter. Partners: University of Northern British Columbia and the Society for Canadian Women in Science & Technology.  Last conference was held at UNBC on February 9, 2023.

NID EcoExplorer Camps – offered on non-instructional days in Terrace from September to June for kids ages 5 to 11 years.  Partner: City of Terrace (Parks & Recreation Department). Next dates: April 21 and May 26.

Summer Fun in the Skeena – SkeenaWild offer a variety of outdoor nature summer activities and camps for youth ages 5 to 16 years in communities throughout the Skeena Watershed. Partners include Terrace Women’s Resource Centre Society, BC Parks, Pacific Salmon Foundation, and TD Friends of the Environment Foundation.Â
