A hands-on journey into the ecosystems, salmon, and stories that shape our watershed.

The Skeena Wilderness Wonders camp at Ferry Island offers youth aged 6 to 12 the opportunity to explore the rich ecosystems of the Skeena at our hands-on nature camp. Through various outdoor activities, participants will learn about salmon habitat, watershed health, and the importance of environmental stewardship—all while enjoying meaningful time in nature.

We also invite interested campers to join SkeenaWild in the Riverboat Days Parade during the first weekend of August. This is an excellent opportunity to share what they’ve created with the community and celebrate our connection to the Skeena River together.
