SkeenaWild’s Salmon and Watershed Education Program offers place-based, inquiry-driven experiences for students from preschool to Grade 12. Since 2018, we’ve provided engaging classroom workshops, outreach, and summer programs designed to connect students with the natural world. Led by a passionate environmental educator, our workshops use hands-on activities and demonstrations to bring the science of salmon and watersheds to life. These programs can be delivered inside, outdoors, or virtually, making them accessible to all.

Aligned with SkeenaWild’s mission to protect wild salmon and their ecosystems, the education program helps students understand the vital role salmon play in our environment and communities. By fostering a deeper connection to nature, we aim to inspire the next generation of stewards to care for the Skeena Watershed and its future.
